The Museum recently earned a coveted piece of industry credibility: accreditation. The museum in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn announced Monday that it’s been accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The industry group says about 6 percent of U.S. museums hold the recognition, or 1,005 of about 17,500 museums.
